The South African Military Health Services will setup and manage a national health command and control centre for the Fifa World Cup.

 

Deputy Minister of Health says this will overcome "power dynamics" at a provincial and local government level.

 

He has been quoted saying "Our readiness should demonstrate integration and cohesion of health and medical services among the three spheres of government.

 

He says this could compromise our ability to provide quality services.

 

He also says nothing can be left to chance as it will not be accomplished.
